week 6

Second Session for Digital Ignition Workshop!




Tumanako 12 and Tumanako 14 have learnt a lot of amazing things about digital technology. A lot of new terminology such as bug, debug, algorithm, CIS. The students really enjoyed learning about robots and how certain things can be a robot. The students are learning different skills and language to get a device to move from one place to another.

Every day after morning tea, the year 3s would go for a run around the school, 2 laps. The students will be practising for their cross country, ready in week 10. 




HOUSE CHANT PRACTISE!!! GO KAKAPO!!



CHOIR PERFORMANCE ON TUESDAY NIGHT!! 




TUMANAKO 12 AND 27 have been practising their cultural dance performance for next term!! The kids have been practising at home and at school!!

DAFFODIL MUFTI DAY!!

ROWANDALE school raised $643.20 for Daffodil day!!! Thank you everyone for the gold coin donation as it is for a good cause! 





FATHER'S DAY!!!

Students and parents have created their own rocket ships. We didn't have enough time to launch it outside... HOPEFULLY we can do it next week :) At the end of the activity we had a massive feast, pizza... pizza and more yummy pizza. 





















WHOLE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY!!!
It is team tumanako's turn to showcase their learning and performances! We had T10 and 11 showcase their dance, T25 and T26 showcasing their love for Father's Day.
We also have spot prizes to give out for daffodil day and duffy!

Congratulations to Gardeeniah's dad for winning some goodies for Father's day spot prizes!! whoop whoop!!

Also a BIG CONGRATULATION TO.... Ana for winning the Duffy certificate and Junior (away) for getting the Participation certificate for this week! Awesome effort, you guys rock!!!
